Welcome to our blog!

Well, this is our attempt to post to our blog and experiment with this new technology! Our blog name comes from the unique experience of doubling the amount of kids we had every time we brought more children into our family. First we had Addie who is now 7 years old and in the 2nd grade, then we had Hayden who is now 4 years old and in his 2nd year of preschool, that made two kids instead of one. Then we had Austin & Carter, the twins, who just had their first birthday in August. They brought us from two kids to four in a big hurry! 1 to 2, & 2 to 4 we doubled every time! It's a really good thing that we're not having any more children eh? In all reality they are the joy of our lives and have brought richness to our family & if we could, we would have 4 more of them in a heartbeat!
Joe graduated from the University of Utah with his bachelores degree in May of 2008 and is currently working for the state of Utah as a State licenser/Inspector. He is currently serving in the young men's program, as an advisor for the Teachers quorum. He plays softball for a rec. league along with his brothers and cousins & is in his 2nd season. So far they're 3 & 1 & looking good!

I am the blogger :) I enjoy being a home maker, child educator, shouffer, schedule coordinator, family accountant, as well as the house cook & keeper. Alright maybe I don't always enjoy it, but I am very grateful for the oppertunity I have to be home with my family to help them with their needs whatever they might be! I am serving as the 2nd councelor in the Young Women's presidency and am in the process of publishing some of my own work. I'll keep you posted!

We just sold the first home we ever purchased, & are in the process of searching for a new home closer to where Joe works. In this market there is a lot to choose from and we feel very fortunate to have the equity we were able to get through our sale. We'll update you to our new address as soon as we have one! For now, Randy & Leslie have been generous enough to invite us to stay with them until we find what we want.
